Wilhelm Paul Ackermann, born in Germany, started his naturopathic medcine studies in Sweden and became later natural health professional (Heilpraktiker) in Germany because of own back problems. After chiropractic studies in the US and in UK he worked worked as assistant school doctor. Later he founded both the Ackermann Institute (1968) and College (1980),
where his developments on specific diagnosis- and treatmentsystem on the basis of american chiropractic are being taught today.
